Bud and Gloria Hopkins are the owners of Anderson Orchard at Pleasant View. The
orchard has been here since the 1930’s. The Hopkins’ purchased the orchard in
1994. Bud had previous knowledge of trees and spray programs from an earlier business.
It only seemed right that this was the place for him.
The Hopkins’ two daughters, Becky and Beverly, along with their families help during harvest. It is a great family business. We enjoy meeting and serving all the customers who come out.
Here at the orchard we grow over 18 varieties of apples. Customers can pick their own apples or buy apples already picked in our retail store.
The country store has a good selection of preserves, apple butter, fresh produce, apple cider, cider slush, caramel apples, candles, and potpourri.
We also have a concession area that is open on weekends.
Starting Labor Day weekend, we have fresh-baked Banana bread, Pumpkin bread and Pumpkin rolls. All are made right here at the orchard.
We have a pick-your-own Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze that open starting in October.
Our Goal is to make your trip to the orchard one that keeps you coming back. We hope that you will share your experience with family and friends.
We welcome everyone. Also, the family pets are welcome but we do ask that they be on a leash.
